Each matrix is made of high quality, polished acrylic and is available in two orientations: coronal (slice channels cut perpendicular to the long axis of the heart) and sagittal/axial (slice channels cut parallel to the long axis of the heart) Acrylic mouse heart slicers are an economical alternative to more expensive, stainless steel slicers. Slice section widths range from 1.0 mm to 3.0 mm. Custom mouse heart slicers are available by special request.
